Have you ever imagined your mobile device being instantly converted into a full-feature amplifier for bass or guitar? With the AmpliTube app you can use the special adapter to connect to your instrument and then begin jamming wherever you might be! The AmpliTube app has three stompbox effects, an amp-head plus cabinet, and a microphone too.

The player is able to select from clean, crunch, lead, metal, and bass amps which all feature full controls. They also get access to eleven stompbox effects that include delay, fuzz, overdrive, wah, envelope filter, chorus, phaser, octave, flanger, noise filter, and distortion. There are five speaker cabinets and both a dynamic and condenser microphone.

There is also a chromatic digital tuner, a metronome, and the ability to import tracks. Players may also create up to 36 presets in the app to use any time as well. The app makes it easy to import and play individual songs or to use them as backing tracks for more detailed performances. There is also very low latency to allow for real time playing without unnecessary processing delays.

There are some music studio apps such as PolyTune and Music Studio, but few have the range of effects and features as the AmpliTube app.

This app functions with iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone devices. The cost for the app is $19.99, and any updates are free of charge. There is also the need to purchase the iRig interface adapter as well.
