User Rating:It often happens that we are looking at a lovely view or that “perfect” picture when we discover that the shot cannot completely fit into our camera’s lens. We are then obliged to either give up on the shot, or try to take several overlapping images that we can later manually assemble in a photo editing program. The Pano app eliminates the need for you to combine different photo files to achieve this effect by allowing up to sixteen different clicks of the camera shutter to be automatically merged into a single photograph.
The Pano app offers photographers an amazingly simple user interface that presents them with a visual guide and lines up the images into one flawless and seamless final photograph. Unlike photo editing programs, this one automatically adjusts lighting, color and blending in a way that gives the image a perfect and professional end result.
The finished panoramic image is saved to the camera and can then be emailed, posted or transferred just as any other photographic file. Should the user receive a telephone call while trying to compose the picture, the app knows exactly where to begin when they return to their image.
Unlike apps such as the TripStitch software, which allows manual manipulation of existing photos, the Pano app doesn’t record the image until it is lined up and setup to be a perfect part of the final image. Currently the app is available only for iPhone and iPod Touch users.
Although it boasts an impressive array of technologies and capabilities, the Pano app costs only $2.99 for the full download.
If you want to begin taking extreme wide-angle shots right from your phone you’ll want to get this app right away.
