Over the course of the last decade there have been an ever-increasing number of programs known as “virtual network computing” systems that allow a user to access one computer through another. This provides them with control over the mouse and screen and lets them use any application regardless of which operating systems they were running on the alternate computer.

Now that same technology is available for a mobile device through the Jaadu VNC app. This app can automatically configure router settings to work with any platform including Mac, Windows, Linux and more. The user will control their keyboard and mouse, get a full and high-resolution view of their desktop display, and be able to access any of their computer’s files from any location.

It also allows the user to do such things as log in to monitor their children’s home computer use, control their computer’s media players, and run things like PowerPoint slides with only a few taps of the touchpad. Additionally, the application allows users to visit websites normally inaccessible, such as those with Flash-based functions.

While some other apps deliver a few of the same features as those in the Jaadu VNC, including Keynote Remote’s presentation controls, and the copy and paste capabilities of Air Sharing Pro, none combine them all in a fluid and intuitive single program. This app is currently available for iPod Touch and iPhone devices.
