Are you heading to the city of Berlin at some point in the near future? If so, you’ll definitely want to get the Adidas Urban Art Guide app. This is an interactive guide to the city’s fabulous and unique examples of urban art. Everything from graffiti, stickers and handmade stencil art is identified by the app, and then a map directs you to its location. The Adidas Urban Art Guide app works in several ways to get the user in touch with some really inspiring art works.

The program simply uses GPS and WiFi positioning to identify the user’s exact location, and from there it directs them to the nearest registered examples. This is done with highly detailed and updated maps which allow the user to select each example or numbered listing to get the official address and description of the piece in question.

There is also a “Tour Guide” that walks the individual through several formal art tours and also points out many other famous sites in the city too. Finally, there is a gallery feature that allows the user to find a site they would like to see in person and then receive detailed directions to the location.

There are many apps supplying guides and maps for cities and regions all around the world, the Adidas Urban Art Guide app however is truly unique in that it focuses specifically on this amazing art form for which Berlin is famous. Currently, the app is available only for iPod Touch and iPhone users.
