For those in the world who enjoy the endless array of zombie movies, books, and cartoons, the ZombieSmash app is just for you. It is an innovative and truly original game that gives the player a huge number of ways to kill off zombies, and all with a giant sense of humor.

As a player of the ZombieSmash app you are given the role of Joey – the lone living human being on the planet. You must risk life and limb (no pun intended) to defeat the slobbering, staggering, and otherwise repulsive hordes of zombies trying to make their way into the castle to devour you completely.

You do this by flicking the screen with your fingers, smashing zombies under your thumbs, and by earning each of the 20 available destruction upgrades. These include asteroids, boulders, wrecking balls and more. Some of the tools can even be used together to create especially elaborate deaths. There are three levels of game play, including Campaign, Siege and the worry free Sandbox option.

There are other defense games such as Tilt to Live and The Hero, but the ZombieSmash app is a truly unique option with excellent graphics and an original soundtrack as well.
