Everyone loves stacking and matching games like Tetris, but the Sigma app takes things to a much more exciting and challenging level. It is extremely easy to play and yet very hard to master, because it utilizes an innovative design that puts an entirely different spin on the way the game is played.

The Sigma app gaming screen uses two spinning columns which are packed full of colorful blocks, and the goal of the game is to quickly align them into sets of three which then evaporate and earn points. Unlike the usual format, which relies on falling blocks, this one gives a lot more control. If the player is very good at the game they will be able to develop enormous blocks of matching colors which disappear and leave entire portions of the screen empty.

This creates massive point accumulations which can unlock more challenges. There are three gaming modes, and even a WiFi or Bluetooth challenge mode between friends.  The app features ten unique graphic themes which are unlocked as the player increases their skills, and a Plus+ network allows them to boast about their highest scores too.

There are many game apps, but the Sigma app is a unique take on one of the most addictive and challenging games available.

The cost for the app is $0.99, and all updates are free of charge as well. It functions with iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone devices.
