Is it silly that I just spend two hours playing the preschooler game JumpStart Pet Rescue ? And now, I have to type this review on laptop ‘coz my nephew Ryan won’t let me use the iPad. He is so into this game.
Honestly I don’t know where to start, as JumpStart Pet Rescue is stuffed with too much content. Basically, your kid tours around five colorful worlds filled with games, exercises and lots & lots of learning, making animal friends on the way. Each world is a feast to your eyes, made of brick houses, small tents, green surroundings, hills, clouds, mountains, pools, water slides and an ever shining sun. Once let loose into the ‘JumpStart Pet Rescue world’, your toddler can roam around, swim in rivers, talk and play with pets, seed plants, take photos of the scenes, paint on boards and God knows what else. Enter the theaterto view quality rhyme videos, use the Radioadopt more pets from the store, do some dancing with the elephant and much more. Customize the looks of your house and yourself by selecting from a variety of options. Believe me, there is no time to get bored!
Enough said about the fun part. Now to the learning thing.
There are innumerable levels to get your toddler’s basics right with numbers, alphabets, colors shapes, directions, story telling, memory, identifying objects and solving puzzles. Bunny fun, Monkey drop, Bug catcher, Matching duckies, Sound box, Present search, Lunch box, Jigsaws etc are great teachers while keeping things interesting at the same time. You need to win these educational levels to proceed in the game and also you’re awarded a present after completion. This will be more than enough for your darling to concentrate on the learning center.
One thing I love about Jumpstart Pet Rescue is that there are no hidden costs or ads or in-app purchases in it. An onetime cost for the whole package, a pretty big package though!
It’s all fun and learning throughout. The BGM is always active and dynamic with melodies, JumpStart theme songs and help announcements. Each session of gameplay is like watching an episode of Dora, the Explorer or TeleTubbies. To conclude, Jumpstart Pet Rescue is undoubtedly the best educational app for kids out there.
