Get inspired! I bet when you were a kid you made flowery potato stamps, or you had one of those sets to stamp your name. Now you can take it up a notch, with this super letterpress app!

LetterMpress got themselves funded through Kickstarter.com, a community funding website. They asked for $15.000 to develop the app, and ended up with over double that in pledges. And no wonder, because this is an incredibly crafted app, one of the prettiest I’ve seen so far (and trust me, I see a LOT of apps!)
The design is lovely, the options are awesome, you can print, you can export what you’ve made, you can design your own invitations or bookcovers or any crafts you’re into (I think this would work great with needlework actually) and they are looking to expand so you can have your designs printed “for real” on a real letterpress, on real paper.

I just love old books and letterpress, so this is exactly the app for me. The community funding aspect also really appeals to me, shame I didn;t know about it before, because I would have gladly invested. All in all, this is a great little app that’s well worth it’s $4.99!
