Who would’ve though that pinball will be this exciting? Each word in the name Momonga Pinball Adventures is significant as the game follows the adventurous quest of a momonga, portrayed in the form of the arcade game pinball.
The momonga village is attacked by cruel owls but our hero, Momo narrowly escapes. No prizes for guessing what follows next. The revenge! A friendly Panda teaches him the skills and Momo sets out on the journey.
The gameplay is the same as any pinball game except for curled up Momo as the ball and villains or obstacles as the targets. You have left and right paddles which gets slashed by a tap on the corresponding side. Sometimes, additional paddles are present in single, which also follows the same principle. Occasionally, new characters also help you and you get to control them, as well. Also, since he is a momonga (a flying squirrel), there are mini-levels where he flies from height, using the accelerometer controls.
I don’t know about you guys but, I always played pinball as a leisure game with random flicks whenever the ball comes close. Yeah, that won’t work here! Perfect aim and shooting power is essential for playing the game as you are frequently required to shoot down specific targets like boxes, coins, enemies, doors, levers etc. I know it sounds kind of scary, but after a checkpoint or two, you’ll fall right into the groove.
Whenever you pass through the paddles, you lose one of the three hearts and you know what happens when all are gone. Game Over and you’ve to start over again. Speaking of which I remember that the checkpoints are formed very far from each other and so, it’s somewhat heard to proceed swiftly through the levels.
The animations are huge and the sounds are soft, apt for the environment If the word pinball makes you think that this one is boring; No buddy, not this one. Boasting the perfect combination of an arcade and adventure game, this tale of Momo is surely worth your hard earned money.

Join Momo in the first episode of an epic adventure to save his tribe. A band of owls turned the momonga village to ashes. The owls took the momongas and vanished. Momo barely survived the attack. On the continent Aya, animals have lived peacefully since the Great War. The Guardian Council has been formed to protect the Sources, and the world from another War. The Sources are five places of great power, and bring balance to the world when they are in the right hands. Ever since the start of the Great War, the Sources have been contested by the Shadow Species, who claimed the Sources for themselves.
The momongas are a small and peaceful tribe of flying squirrels, living on a group of small islands on the river Yana. They make their homes in the hollow trunks of giant Sequoia trees, and generally get out of the way of trouble.
One day, the village was raided by a group of owl bandits. Their leader, General Kuton, is a renegade general, brilliant in his old days, but torn apart by the loss of his son to the Ravens. The owls took every momonga and disappeared. All except one - the young Momo barely escaped Kuton’s claws. He was saved by Panda, one of the nomadic pandas that roam the continents. He healed Momo and took to a sanctuary up in the mountains.
Our adventure begins here - with a little flying squirrel and a lonely panda. Will they be able to stop the forces of evil?
