Monsters, Inc was no doubt one of my favorite animations as a kid, and thus I had extremely high hopes for Monsters, Inc. Run. No doubt it was an excellent 2D-side scroller.
Yes, 2D.
The premise for Monsters, Inc. Run is fairly straightforward. As per the game title suggests it is to simply, run.
Users are given the tag team combination of Mike and Sulleyat the start,but of course additional tag teams can be unlocked as the game progresses. Actual gameplay involves running through the stages, toggling between both characters to effectively and efficiently clear the level. Evidently there is a reason to why each tag team involves a larger sized monster and a little one. Use it to your advantage.
Of course, you’ll also meet those few levels every now and then that are impossible to beat and will cause a few strands of hair to be pulled out.
Add in virtual currency that can be accumulated via gameplay or in-app purchases in exchange for unlockables and you have a game to potentially keep you hooked on for hours on end.
