Hitting the club is always more fun when you are surrounded by friends. When the music is hot, you need to let the world know that where you are is THE place to be. Amsterdam Worldwide in collaboration with Olmeca Tequila has released NightTag to makes it easy to share your nightlife adventures with friends and others on Facebook.
NightTag is a specialized posting client for Facebook. The app itself is set up to quickly and easily let you take a photo of yourself or your surroundings, identify the music that is playing at the moment and post your location to Facebook Timeline for your friends to see. The various steps move seamlessly between each other to get you off your phone and back to partying as quickly as possible. Most of the magic of NightTag happens on the server end and how it posts to your timeline. Your friends will see your activity from inside the ticker, and all your NightTag posts throughout the night will be grouped inside your timeline.
NightTag also has the ability to list events at clubs in your area, though it only supports some larger areas. The app has a music streaming from a variety of popular internet radio stations and allows you to listen to songs that you tag in your posts.
NightTag is a fast way to post your experiences and it’s geared directly to night club patrons and party people. Their editing the status post before sending was a bit buggy, but otherwise it was a flawless solution if these types of posts are common for you. I did hope to see some more interaction from within the app such as being able to view your friend’s posts right from the app, but on the other hand, NightTag is a focused single purpose app that does its job very well.
