With the increasing use of social media to raise awareness of charitable activism amongst youths, it is no surprise that ONE campaigning organization has decided to take it a step further through the use of an iOS App to connect with potential activists on-the-go.
To sign up and join the ONE Campaign cause, one can simply sign up for a brand new account through the console in the app itself, or connect the app with one’s Facebook account. The process is fuss free and extremely smooth to handle.
In terms of layout and organization styles, ONE Campaign does a great job at neatly arranging the posts for easy scrolling with aptly eye-catching headlines. Posts are arranged by chronological order, with a thoughtfully selected color scheme that makes posts stand out distinctively but yet still click in with each other without contrasting visuals that end up as an eyesore or clutter the view.
As an app aimed to promote change and for people to voice out their opinions, ONE Campaign does more than just feature a list of emotionally appealing articles. Other features include the ability to aid in creating change, through joining petitions such as voicing calls to the American White House.
For a free app, this is one app that you should indeed download. To quote the ONE Campaign app description, they are ‘not asking you for your money, but your voice’.
