Free app of the week! No questions asked, no ratings checked, no quick peek at the screenshots. just tapped download. And what? Phoster is awesome.
On a first glance, this looked like an app for professionals or business owners who could design posters on their own. I wondered why the Editors would select an app with such narrow spectrum of beneficiaries. Spending some time with Phoster, I realised that this is the coolest app anyone who ever have.
Making greeting cards, invitations, announcements, Facebook memes etc is a walk in the park with it and the end result is spectacular. Don’t expect it to be graphical or photogenic; instead Phoster believes in keeping it simple, colourful and contrast.
The main screen is a show case of innumerable templates for posters, sorted into landscape, portrait and squares. Love a template and mark it favourite for quick access. Add a picture, take a photo, change colours and add custom texts using any colour or font. Resize, reposition, change the order and many more, so that all those posters look completely different. Things aren’t over yet. The last screen presents you with some jaw dropping paper effects like, folds, crumble, crushed, muddy, tea spilled, dirty, porous and more.
In short, with couple of taps and typing in your content, you’ll have your breath taking poster. This end result from Phoster is sure to attract eyes and win over hearts, perfect for sharing on Facebook. Believe me, I’ve tried and people love it. Simplicity is the ultimate beauty, they say.
