Have you ever been running errands, out shopping and you want to know if you are getting best deal you can get. Or perhaps you are just curious how much this same item costs online, weighing the benefits of buying it now or saving some money and waiting. With Pricepad you can quickly find the best deal and save yourself some money. It’s very simple to use, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been doing this for years.

The bar scanner space is a pretty saturated space, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for innovation. Pricepad does just that. The most impressive feature in Pricepad is it’s list capability. With lists you can save items you’ve scanned or entered in into categorized lists. Things such as gifts, books, electronics, tools, etc… You can easily store your scanned items for later recall in organized lists. Another thing is that Pricepad immediately loads the bar code scanner and lets you start scanning and saving money immediately. No ads or fuss to get through.

Like mentioned this market is full of apps that all bring something to the space, apps like Bakodo, that can find nearby stores with the items. Or an app simply called Barcode Scanner. Neither of these have a clean and quick app with neatly organized lists.

Pricepad is for sale for $0.99, and is well worth the pennies if you need a workhorse bar code scanner. For this price the app will quickly pay for itself, obviously you’ll be saving money when you are shopping!
