iSwap Faces is a fun little app that lets you take an image with two individuals and.. swap their faces. It is a simple, one-trick pony app that performs that one trick quite well!

The app takes a complex process and makes it down right simple. Tap the button after selecting the image and the resize and rotate the "masks" over each face to cover it in the same way on both pictures. (In this was two faces of different shapes, sizes and position can still be used.) When they are positioned properly you tap another button and… bam… the faces get swapped.

I tried it with my wife and me and the results were hilarous! (I’m not going to post it because I like being married.)

I tried it with a picture of my twin niece and nephew and it was super funny. (I’m not going to post it because I love them and I am afraid of my sister.)

Better still, the next upate will bring support for saving faces from one image for use on another.

In all this is good fun that will make others laugh… or slap you.

Quick Take

Value: Medium. At $2 it is a great app but not a bargain considering it does only one thing
Would I Buy Again: Probably. I’ve been having fun with it and will keep it on my iPhone
Learning Curve: Low. It truly takes a complex process and makes it easy
Who Is It For: Anyone who wants to play with their pictures
What I Like: Works well, creates funny images, stable
What I Don’t: Does only one thing for $2. Currently requires yu use images with both faces in the same picture
