Freakingly addictive! Ski on Neon is the most addictive game I’ve played lately. On par with Canabalt. What is it about? A skier with very bad dressing choices, facing several challenges.
With a simple control structure: tap to crouch and dive. Stop crouching to get high. Simple, but the challenges are not. There are 15 to conquer, and they are hard. Did I say they are hard?
Three modes: Height (the High Flyer mode), Speed (Speed Trials) and Mixed (Tech Slopes). And a lot of tries to pass each level, but I just could not put it down. I got to the three Game Center leaderboards (181ft, -17.35sec, -7.53 respectively). Of course, there are too few players for it to be significative… I want more players!
It’s hard to tell why it is so much fun, is the kind of game you need to check and try. Go and get it. Did I mention the secret? No? The developers are preparing a multiplayer mode. I want more players to beat!
