There is honor among thieves: four of the best and most nimble fingered felons in the world get an invite to steal diamonds from some of the world’s most famous buildings, such as the pyramids and the Empire State building. The dextrous one who succeeds will be known as the world’s best thief, so there’s a lot at stake. Can you steal all the diamonds?

Arsène Lupin was one of the great (fictional) gentleman thieves of 19th century literature, a lovable rogue who never hurt anyone who didn’t deserve it and only stole from the impossibly wealthy.
In the first, free, level Lupin tries to break into Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. There are 300 different stages all in all (with more to come apparently!). The more gems you capture, the more special abilities you get and there are so many traps and puzzles that this game will keep you well occupied for days and days. The translations could do with some work: some of the levels are completely unintelligible now and it’s an odd dissonant in a game that is otherwise so well cared for. They should really address that. Get an actual English speaking person to take a look at the texts.

Other than that: you don’t get voted Best Free Game in the US app store for nothing! It was launched by Seoul based Blue Wind in February and already it has reached the top ten of most popular free game apps in 57 countries! Wow! This clever one-button game is highly addictive and it looks pretty awesome. The characters are drawn with attention to detail, there are four different ones to choose from and maybe even more to come. You can either earn levels or simply pay for them. I’m guessing a lot of people might pay, just to see more of the wonderful universe that is Lupin!
