Spring is in the air and the developers at Ximad are trying to get some nice marketing for their games out there by releasing this free, traditional jigsaw puzzle for the iPad, all about love! With different puzzles for love and valentine, you get to connect jigsaw puzzle pieces cartoony and painting-like images together. You can pick different levels of difficulty which means you get to assemble more or fewer pieces together. The advanced levels are actually very hard, because the detail on the pieces is very small and it takes a lot of effort to match to the big picture. Love can be hard work…

You can get an overview of the entire image to get some idea of what goes where. Besides that, it’s a good, old fashioned puzzle like the ones you might’ve completed back on your momma’s kitchen table! Everything looks good graphically and their is some good, classical violin music playing while you are trying to complete your masterpiece. (not into the classics? you can switch it off as well)

To summarize, this game is nice and relaxing to play and especially fun if you like jigsaw puzzles. When you are stuck with the more difficult levels, the violin music is a bit too much / overbearing to my taste; I started to get annoyed by it after not too long. Also some of the images are slightly kinky, which might deter some people (namely girls). If you like jigsaws however, you should try it, it’s definitely a good play and it’s free!
